The updates and capabilities mentioned below are available by next week.
1. Unified Goal Tracking on Sales Team App
Previously, the Sales Team App had separate sections for operational monitoring (team members’ daily activities) and business performance tracking (configured business KPIs in Scorecard). We've now unified these sections under Goal Tracking, providing comprehensive visibility into:
Team members’ daily operational activities.
Detailed activity logs, with the option to visualize users' movements on a map.
Individual and team-level business performance metrics.
Now, managers can track and analyze all team activities and performance in one consolidated view with better user experience.
2. Now Control Customer Creation and Edit Permission by User Designation
To improve functional scalability, we've expanded configurations to allow customer creation and edit permissions by designation as well besides role based control that already existed. This means if two users belonging to SR role are going to the same store, one can be allowed to add a retail outlet or edit profile details but the other cannot while she may be allowed to do other activities. Likewise some territory managers with specific designations can have this permission while others may not.
This also means better access control from security compliance perspective.
3. Introducing NFC Tag-Based Check-in at Customer Site
We have introduced support for NFC (Near Field Communication) tag based check-in besides GPS based check-in as an option to customers who have deployed NFC tags at their retail outlets. Sales team users can by can check-in by simply tapping their mobile devices on pre-installed NFC tags at each outlet..
4. Miscellaneous Improvements for better user experience
We've implemented some enhancements focused on improving user experience and operational efficiency:
Faster SKU Fetching for Sales Manager Role:
Optimized the SKU fetching for sales manager role users by changing it to on-demand fetch for each customer where they are trying to do any activity..Improved Customer Creation Flow: If users exit the new customer creation midway, the system now returns to the previous page instead of exiting completely, allowing smoother interactions.
Sales Reps can now see their entire customer list:
Sales Rep role users can now fetch and manage their entire assigned customer list even if it is large (previously limited to a maximum of 3,000 customers).Customer Count in Route Scheduling:
The total count of customers is now displayed clearly while scheduling routes from the calendar view.Calendar Based BeatPlan Creation for Sales ManagerRole:
Calendar based BeatPlanning feature is now extended to SM role as well for self beat plan creation as well as for any reportees.Team-Wide BeatPlan Copying:
