BeatRoute just got better (Release 7.3.5)

The updates and capabilities mentioned below are available by end of this month.


1. Option for sales team to be able to assign one customer to more than one sales team member is configurable now

In BR we have an option to add customers on more than one route for the purpose of assigning them to more than 1 sales team member. We have made this configuration basis so that you can enable it only if you have such customer-team mapping.

Action required -: You can disable this option via configurations, if you don’t have category level sales teams & do not require overlapping routes. The sales team will not be able to add more than one route to a customer if disabled. 



2. Now share summary of daily orders & returns to distributor/partners directly on Whatsapp

This will enable sharing summary of  all new orders & returns as PDF attachment on Whatsapp to respective partner & SR role users at pre-defined frequency which is configurable via cuesbot module. This is particularly useful for partners who don’t use mail/DMS that much for checking which are the new orders to be fulfilled

Action required -: Enable if useful



3. Delta improvement in recently released customer navigation module for sales team app -

In customer navigation on the sales team app while viewing the list of customers grouped by routes, assigned routes to particular sales team members aren't visible if that route has zero customers. Based on user’s feedback, we have improved this by showing all routes irrespective of whether any customer has been added to it yet or not.

4. Miscellaneous improvements -> 

4.1 Improvement in customer auto address pickup -> In customer address we have a field with the name Street which is changed to “Shop No/Building Name/Floor/Street” for users to fill in any kind of granular detail about the exact location of the customer. Rest of the fields will be fetched automatically from lat-long. We have made changes to the location fetch time for it to return more pin pointed address information in other fields.

The street column has been renamed to “Shop No/Building Name/Floor/Street” in customer master download & order download file.

Team activity download, we have added 2 columns - activity address & customer address for managers to easily compare where activity has been done with reference to customer address in the system.

Action required -: Changes in downloads, make changes if any of your existing automation is impacted because of this.


4.2 You can now allow the sales team to be able to edit orders till they are processed -> We have enabled a new configuration which can allow the sales team to be able to edit orders in terms of SKU quantity, price and order level attributes before an order is processed. This can be utilised in case sales teams frequently make changes to pending orders based on stock availability or customer requirements.
