We are pleased to announce Release 9.3.0 (codenamed Mahanadi) of our Sales Team Android App and Brand Panel, launching next week. This release introduces a new capability in the Custom Workflow module for Merchandising, New reports in Pocket MIS, along with improved user experience & Incentive module visibility under goal tracking along with support for webhook based integration.
Changes described in Point 5 need your attention if you have built automation on those actions. The other upgrades in this release do not require any mandatory action from the customers’ end.
1. Introducing Merchandising Workflow to Capture Visibility and Availability in One Place
Custom Workflows were a great tool for creating a Merchandising workflow — using picture inputs for visibility and numeric inputs for availability — but worked best when the number of SKUs was limited. In cases with a large SKU set, the workaround was to use the Take Stock workflow for availability and a separate Custom Workflow for visibility, resulting in a broken reporting experience.
This is now thoroughly addressed with the introduction of a Merchandising Template within Custom Workflow. When setting up a merchandising use case, admins can now select this template, which includes the following built-in features:
Set up inputs for each SKU within a specific set — for example, report quantity and price tag availability for each SKU belonging to a brand or category
Set up visual inputs at the brand or category level
This allows customers to accurately map the real-life experience of visiting a product display area — reporting SKU-level availability while capturing brand or category-level visibility, all within a single workflow.
2. Introducing the Team Incentive Module
We are taking Goal-Driven execution further by directly linking monetary benefits with KPI performance. BeatRoute customers can now enable this module, which includes:
Admin control to enable incentives by designation
Support for custom calculation logic for each KPI-linked incentive
An API to directly populate results of a custom calculation with display outputs, such as Earned Incentive and Maximum Possible Incentive
3. Introducing Webhooks for Event-Based Integrations
BeatRoute now supports Webhooks, enabling event-based, real-time integrations with external client systems.
We are starting with ‘Stock Issue Confirmation by Van User’ as an event trigger — this event can now be consumed directly by an ERP or any external system
With the Webhook framework now in place, additional event triggers can be added quickly as required.
4. Pocket MIS Gets a Cleaner, More Actionable Interface
Based on user feedback, we have improved the Pocket MIS interface to make reporting data easier to consume and act upon. What's improved:
Visual representation of performance trends
Clearer and more intuitive data presentation
Ability to quickly share insights with team members
We have also expanded Pocket MIS with additional visibility for the Primary channel and operational visibility on secondary customer coverage. New reports include:
Pending Order Report (Primary Channel)
Sales Performance Report (Primary Channel)
Network Coverage Summary Report — shows Untouched and Unvisited customers at any point in the month
5. Miscellaneous Changes
Following are the changes in terms of report downloads, If you have built automation on these downloads then it needs your attention.
At BeatRoute, we remain dedicated to continuously refining our platform to support your business goals effectively. Thank you for your ongoing trust and partnership.
Best Regards,
The BeatRoute Team
