BeatRoute New Features (Release 8.3.3 - Kanyakan)

Modified on Sun, 16 Nov at 8:16 PM

The updates and functionalities listed below are scheduled by the end of next week.

1. Stock Issue And Delivery Assignment in Van Sales Are Now Decoupled

Under the van sales module, stock can now be issued directly to delivery teams for dispatches created in BeatRoute, making van sales operations smoother and easier to track.

For companies issuing stock through an external DMS or ERP, delivery assignment is now fully flexible. You can assign delivery teams to orders or dispatches even when stock issuance happens outside BeatRoute, since these two steps are no longer tied together. This ensures you do not need to issue the stock again in BeatRoute, while still managing delivery planning inside the system.

2. Warehouse Reconciliation Can Now Go Through Approval

Reconciliation entries created for ready-stock users can now be routed through an approval flow. This adds clearer accountability and better audit control over stock and payment linked movements between warehouse and field teams.

3. Customer Approval Rights Can Now Be Configured by Designation

Customer approval rights, which could earlier be controlled only by role, can now be configured by designation as well. This gives companies finer control and allows approvals to be restricted to specific designations such as TSM, SM, or RSM.

4. Current Stock Download Is Now Available for Field Users Carrying Inventory

A new download shows ‘User × Distributor Current Stock’ as of today. This helps companies track field inventory across users and distributors easily.

5. Geofencing Can Now be Applied at Individual Custom Activity Level

Geofencing can now be applied to specific custom activities instead of all activities collectively. Companies can:

  • Geo-verify Merchandising Audit

  • Allow Feedback Collection outside customer location

  • Enforce location verification for Competition Visibility Capture

This provides better control over compliance-critical tasks while maintaining flexibility where needed.
