BeatRoute Just Got Better - Sep 12'2023

Modified on Wed, 13 Sep, 2023 at 6:21 PM

The updates and capabilities mentioned below will be available by 3rd week of this month (Sep 2023).

AUOM Conversion

In BeatRoute we have a base UOM and 5 alternative UOMs can be maintained corresponding to a particular SKU with their conversions defined. We have increased conversion to 5 decimals points from the present 2 decimals for better accuracy in terms of conversion. If the smallest unit is configured as base UOM, then the decimal problem will not be there in the first place. For client where this is not the case, conversion upto 5 decimals will help.

Custom Attributes in Order Workflow

Right now in BeatRoute, Customer custom attributes can be controlled on the basis of Customer subtype & other attributes. Order as a workflow can have custom attributes but there is no relation between Customer attributes and any workflow attribute. With this development custom attribute such as payment terms (If there are different payment terms for different segment of retailer) in order workflow can be controlled on the basis of customer attributes such as subtype, class, chain & stage.

Available Credit Definition Change

Right now in BR, available credit means (Credit limit - Outstanding amount), we have changed it to (Credit limit - Outstanding amount - Open orders value) to account for orders already placed but not invoiced. Both in the SFA & Customer app, there will be an info page to show the corresponding calculations.

Net & Gross price visibility on Sales team’s app

In some countries where sales teams interacts with customers on the basis of SKU prices not inclusive of tax, we have made an admin level configuration on which prices (Gross/Net) are visible at the time of order & dispatch.
